How to Order Prints


Do I need to become a member to order prints on Fujipix.ie?

Yes, to place an order on Fujipix.ie you need to become a member. To become a member simply compete the join now form.

How do I order photo items on Fujipix.ie?

To order photos online please follow these steps:

  • Login to your Fujipix.ie account
  • Click on 'My Photos and select 'Upload Pictures' to add photos to your account
  • Click on 'Create Now' at the bottom left hand corner of your screen and select the photo product you wish to order online.

When can I expect to pick-up my collection order in-store?

When you place a collection order online you will receive a collection time on your order confirmation - please allow 24 hour lead time.

How do I check the status of my order?

To check the status of your order or to view historical orders please select the ‘my orders’ tab located at the top of your screen.

How do I know if my order has been processed successfully online?

When your order has been successfully placed online you will receive an email to confirm the details of your order.
 

Do I need to download a specific piece of software to place an order on Fujipix.ie?

Yes, you will need to download "ActiveX" which is a program that is installed on your PC and is free of charge. This program allows you to browse your hard drive, select many images at once and monitor the progress of these images being uploaded. Please remember to have pop-ups activated on your computer.
 

Are you experiencing difficulty downloading the Pix Uploader/Active X?

The security settings on your computer may be preventing the download of the active x applet.

If using windows and Internet Explorer check the following security settings:

  1. Open internet explorer and choose tools, internet options.
  2. Choose the Security tab and click Custom Level in the security level for this zone.
  3. Make sure that the 'Download signed ActiveX' control is not disabled.
  4. Make sure that 'Run Active x controls and plug-ins is not disabled.
     

What format do my images need to be to upload to Fujipix.ie?

The system currently accepts only images in .JPEG format. 

Can I get discounts for large orders?

We offer tiered pricing for print orders so the more you purchase the more cost effective the price per print is for you. To view our tiered pricing please click here
 

Do my photos get resized automatically during upload?

There are 3 different upload options available on Fujipix.ie:

Small – This option is suited for sizes up to 10” in height and width, including small gift items.
Medium – this option is suited for sizes up to 17” in height or width, including medium gift items.
Large – This option is suited for sizes up to 28” in height or width, including large gift items.

The image will be resized based on your selection. By choosing a lower upload section, the upload speed will increase. You only need to use the upload size based on what you are planning on ordering. The quality of the image will not be increased by choosing a higher upload option.
 

I have forgotten my password. What can I do?

If you have forgotten your password, please click on the “Forgot my password” link on the Sign In page. You will then need to enter your email address and you will be sent a confirmation email with your new password information. If you do not receive an email, check your spam or junk mail folders.

How do I pay for my prints?

You can pay for your print order online with either credit card (we accept either mastercard or visa) or laser card.



Collection, Shipping & Delivery


When can I expect to pick up my collection order in-store?

When you place a collection order online you will receive an order confirmation which will outline your collection time. Collection times are as follows:

  • Photos - 1-2 working days after your order has been placed
  • Photo Gifts - 6 working days after your order has been placed
  • Canvas & Poster Prints - 3 working days after your order has been placed
  • Photo Calendars - 3 working days after your order has been placed
  • Photo Books - 4 working days after your order has been placed

How will my photos be shipped?

Your order will be shipped by An Post in reinforced envelopes/packaging to protect your order during transit.
 

I want my order delivered to an alternative address. Can I do this?

Yes, you can arrange to have your Fujipix.ie order delivered to an alternative recipient by filling out the correct delivery address details in the fields provided in the checkout area.
 

I placed an order for delivery and have not received it.

Your order confirmation will contain details of the store selected to process your order. You can contact them by via the phone number or email address provided. You can also contact Fujipix.ie via the contact us form

Correct Fit for Your Photo


Correct Aspect Ratio for your Images

You view the photos in your albums that you have uploaded to Fujipix.ie and they are exact replicas of the images stored on your computer screen.

Most digital cameras have photo aspect ratios (width to height) which work great for displaying your photos on your computer screen, but not so great when you want to print your photos. To avoid receiving images with cut off heads, cropped out areas of your photos and other annoyances it is important to preview your photos prior to progressing to the checkout are on the site.

Prior to taking the photos, compose your photos in the viewfinder or preview screen and be sure to leave a little extra space above and below the subject of interest, such as a person’s head. That way you won’t end up with the top of the photo annoyingly close to the head.
 



Print Queries


A yellow exclamation mark (!) or a red cross (X) appears on my photo on the screen. Why is that?

The yellow exclamation mark and red cross are warnings that the photo used for your finished product are low resolution and your product may be pixilated and not appear as expected. We suggest that you reduce the size of your chosen image until the warning gores away or try to upload a large size image.

How do I know if the image quality/resolution is sufficient to ensure good quality prints?

The website offers a comprehensive image quality facility across all products. If the resolution of your photos is below what is required for great photos a yellow/red x appears on the print onscreen.

Do you process images that I have scanned?

Yes you can upload your scanned image to Fujipix.ie and process your order as normal. Your scanned image will need to be in .jpg format.

Are the prints made on the same photographic paper as in traditional processing companies?

Yes, prints are processed on FUJIFILM crystal archive photographic paper.
 

How will my photos be shipped and how much does it cost?

Your order will be shipped by An Post in a reinforced envelopes/packaging to protect your order during transit. To view our postal charges please click here

What print finishes do you offer?

You can order your prints in either gloss or matt finish on Fujipix.ie

Do you print any bigger than 8” x 12”

We also offer poster prints on Fujipix.ie in the following sizes:

  1. 12" x 10"
  2. 15" x 10"
  3. 16" x 12"
  4. 20" x 16"
  5. 30" x 20"

I have taken pictures using my mobile phone. Can you print them for me?

Yes, transfer your images to your laptop or computer and upload to the website and process your order as usual to obtain your mobile phone photos. Please note that depending on the camera specification the resolution may be below what is required.

Can I change my password?

Yes, you can change your password as frequently as you wish by logging into your Fujipix.ie account and selecting the “My Account” option and clicking on the change password tab. Then enter the details as requested.

I have just registered - how can I redeem my 20 free 5" x 7" prints?

To redeem your 20 free prints simply select 20 or more 5" x 7" prints to order online and the promotion value for these prints will be deducted from your total order at checkout.

  • This offer can be redeemed with the store you selected prior to registration
  • Please note that you must redeem your 20 free prints with one order. E.g. if you redeem only 10 prints with your first order, the remaining 10 free prints will not be available with the next order.

When you upload your photos on Fujipix.ie you can organise them in the following ways:

1.Organise your photos into albums
2.Sort your albums as follows – ascending (a-z) or descending (z-a)
3.Sort your photos by date (latest to oldest or oldest to latest) or by file name

Edit Your Photos Online

Once you have uploaded your digital photos you can enhance your photos with our image editing software which provides the following functionality:

1. Auto correct your photos or choose to do it manually by adjusting the softness/sharpness, brightness and contrast of your images
2. Remove redeye
3. Rotate your photos to how you would like them
4. Crop your photos to remove unwanted areas of your photos
5. Change your photos to black and white or sepia

Create Fun Collages With Your Photos

You’ve got loads of photos so why not arrange them in a cool collage on a poster print, canvas, or other photos products. Once you have selected your photo album and product, choose from the fun or contemporary landscapes and allow the website to automatically add the photos for you or exercise your creative streak and arrange the photos in your own unique collage.



Print Your Facebook Photos Online


How can I print my Facebook photos on Fujipix.ie?

To print your Facebook photos online please follow these steps:

  1. Select your preferred store and login to your Fujipix.ie account
  2. Click on the “my photos” tab and then click on the Facebook logo at the top of the screen
  3. You can choose to import your photos from your Facebook account or vice versa
  4. Login to your Facebook account
  5. Select the “Facebooker” whose photos you wish to import from the drop down menu
  6. Select the photo album and select the photos you wish to import and click “import” at the bottom of the screen
  7. Choose an album in your Fujipix.ie to add the photos to
  8. Your Facebook photos will then transfer to your Fujipix.ie account so that you can print them online!

A yellow exclamation mark appears on the Facebook photos that I have imported, why?

When you upload your photos to Facebook the resolution of each image is reduced. Fujipix.ie has an image quality feature on the website which adds an exclamation mark or an X to your photo when the resolution is below what is required for the photo/product you wish to order. When this occurs it is best to select a smaller photo size or reduce the size of the photo on your chosen product to ensure that you receive a good quality photo/product.

 

Can I print my friend’s Facebook photos?

Yes! If your friend has chosen to share their photos with you, you can print their photos online by following these steps:

  1. Select your preferred store and login to your Fujipix.ie account
  2. Click on the “my photos” tab and then click on the Facebook logo at the top of the screen
  3. Login to your Facebook account
  4. Select your friend whose photos you wish to import by clicking on the drop down menu and selecting your friend the list
  5. Select the photo album and select the photos you wish to import and click “import” at the bottom of the screen
  6. Choose an album in your Fujipix.ie to add the photos to
  7. Your friends Facebook photos will then transfer to your Fujipix.ie account so that you can print them online!

When I click on "import" my Facebook photos nothing happens

To import your Facebook photos to Fujipix.ie please ensure that your pop-ups are unblocked. To unblock your pop-up please follow these steps:

  1. Click on "Tools"
  2. Select "Pop Up Blocker" and disable pop-up blocker
